Flexible & high quality: You can hold the marker at an angle to color wide areas & you can also hold the marker straight up to draw thin lines. You can wet the tip of the marker with water to produce multiple gradations of one color. 

Steps to colour blend: First, apply one colour before it dries. Then, add another color over it to create a colour gradation. You can also apply a darker coloured ink directly onto the tip of a lighter colored marker for gradation.
